FEATURES

Shared Whiteboard.

Draw, write notes and engage your pupils with the built-in whiteboard feature. Assign control of the board to your pupil's whenever you choose. This feature is especially useful for teachers who use devices such as the Microsoft Surface with stylus input.

Live Classrooms.

When enabled your pupils can simultaneously participate in classroom activities via audio and video in real-time. There is no limit on the number of simultaneous participants and you always remain in full control of how users engage on the platform.

Supported Devices.

IGLU Classroom is built from the ground up using an accessible classroom first approach. It works great on tablets, laptops, and desktops and although it works fine on most mobile phones we recommend using a tablet or PC for consistent quality.

IGLU Classroom is a completely web-based solution. All you need to use the service is a web browser. There is nothing to download. It works with Linux, Mac, and Windows. Android and iOS release is currently in development although both Android and iOS devices can access the service via a regular web browsers.

Lesson Recording.

Securely record and store your lessons on the Cloud to share with your pupils to help them catch up with work they've missed or as a resource for revision. This feature is especially useful if you're not able to conduct a lesson, why not pre-record a lesson? All recordings are fully encrypted and visible only to authorised user accounts.

Group Activity.

Your pupils can engage with you and one another in a classroom chat feature. This feature can be turned on or off at any time. For timed activities and exercises pupils can also be separated into either randomly selected or user-defined work groups.

Teaching Controls

IGLU Classroom empowers teachers with a host of classroom management controls at the click of a button. These include audio and video muting, suspension of classroom chats and private messaging, digital queuing for pupils (hand raising), and in extreme circumstances user banning.

Share it.

The screen share feature allows teachers to share their desktop and laptop screens without asking pupils to visit resources outside of the classroom making it easier for you and more secure for them.

The latest Chrome and FireFox browsers benefit from high-quality audio and video streaming with the latest HTML5 client making the service both reliable and accessible across both mobile and desktop devices.
